Media Experience

In 2012 I was awarded a British Science Association Media Fellowship. I spent 17 days at the Scotsman and a week at the British Science Festival, which was a brilliant experience and I learnt a lot about pitching and writing stories.

I had one piece on the front page of the Scotland on Sunday, six page leads, one 500 word feature and a wing in the Scotsman plus seven unnamed pieces in the Scotsman. Online, I had seven stories online only on the Scotsman website and eight stories on the British Science Association website. Links to all these pieces can be found here:
